Getting Started

This is the path from creating a workspace to seeing your first accurate profit number — five steps, most of them a couple of minutes each. The rest of the docs are organized by job (Guides) and by vocabulary (Concepts); this page is the one you read once, in order.

1. Create your workspace

Sign up and verify your email. A workspace is where one seller's marketplace connections, catalog, and reports live — if you sell under more than one business entity, each gets its own workspace.

2. Connect a marketplace

From Settings → Integrations, connect Amazon or Walmart. You'll authorize through the marketplace's own login, so this app never sees your marketplace password — only the access it's granted.

3. Give the first sync a few minutes

The first sync pulls in your orders, products, inventory, and returns. Recent data appears within a few minutes; a full backfill of your order history can take longer, and you can leave the page — syncing continues in the background. You'll see a banner on the integration's page while it's still catching up.

4. Add your costs

A profit number needs a cost to subtract, not just a sale to add. Add your product costs — COGS, per-unit fees, shipping — from Products, or import them in bulk if you sell a lot of SKUs. Until a product has a cost, its profit is marked partial or estimated rather than actual — see Profit basis for what those labels mean.

5. Read your first profit report

Open Profit for the first number that combines your sales, fees, and costs. Read a profit report walks through what each figure means and how settled it is.
