Link listings to products
A marketplace listing and your own product record are two different things. Until they are linked, that listing's sales have no cost behind them, so its profit is wrong and it is invisible to any report grouped by product or brand.
Link the listings waiting for you
- Go to Products.
- Click Link listings to products.
- Work down the list. Each row shows the listing and the product it is most likely to be, so a correct suggestion is one click to accept.
- For a row with no suggestion, search for the product yourself, or create it if you have not added it here yet.
What linking changes
Once a listing is linked:
- its orders pick up the product's cost, so their profit becomes real;
- it appears under its product and brand in the reports;
- future orders on that listing link themselves — this is a one-time job per listing, not an ongoing one.
If a listing has no product to link to
Create the product first, from Products → New product, then come back to the queue. A listing you genuinely do not want counted can be left unlinked; it stays in the queue rather than disappearing, so nothing is silently dropped.
